I worked subsequently as a flexographic printer, letterpress printer, web offset printer and repro operator for several companies including a label printer and newspaper printer. I also worked for an international publishing company that prints scientific journals and as a webmaster and system administrator for a multifunctional horticultural company.
In 2002, I decided to pursue my passion for language. I enrolled in a four-year training course in English Translation at Hogeschool West-Nederland in The Hague, a Dutch University of Professional Education for Translation and Interpreting. After graduation, I was sworn in as a certified translator by the District Court of Utrecht.
